Dr. Beumel is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist 

Provides therapy, psychological testing, wellness visits, and presentations.  

 

Dr. Beumel has experience working with first responders, corrections and in the Veterans Health Administration.  She provides psychological testing, therapy, wellness visits, and provides psychoeducation to departments.   Dr. Beumel has been providing pre-employment testing for FRWC but enjoys first responders so much she has joined FRWC full time.   She enjoys working with first responders and veterans who have experienced trauma, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, sexual assault/abuse, and other issues.  

Dr. Beumel attended the Adler School of Professional Psychology (now called Adler University) and graduated with a Doctor of Psychology with a Traumatic Stress Emphasis in 2018.

 

Dr. Beumel completed her pre-doctoral internship with the Federal Bureau of Prisons at the Federal Medical Center in Lexington, KY. Dr. Beumel worked for the Wisconsin Department of Corrections from 2018-2022 at a female institution where she provided individual evidence-based trauma therapy and provided group therapy focused on anxiety management, depression management, and setting healthy boundaries.

 

Dr. Beumel worked with Veterans in the Outpatient Mental Health Clinic at the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center from 2022-2024 where she focused on providing evidence-based individual trauma therapy for Veterans. Dr. Beumel has experience working with individuals who have experienced childhood trauma, trauma as a civilian, and work/service-related trauma.
