Siedah Hampton is a Licensed Master of Social Work

Provides individual therapy and wellness visits.

Siedah Hampton is a Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW) and an active Chicago Police officer. Siedah started with the Chicago Police Department in 2012 and has worked in various districts and specialized units during her career. In 2016, Siedah completed her master’s degree in social work at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). Siedah has worked as a mental health intern at Deborah’s Place, a counselor with the Cook County Juvenile Probation Department, and has assisted with other mental health related positions as necessary.

As an active law enforcement officer, Siedah has first hand experience in relation to the difficulties and pressures that first responders face daily. She has observed what the effects of untreated trauma and lack of mental health resources on first responders and their families can look like.

Siedah’s goals are to work with and aid first responders (and their families) in the practice of self-care, heal their relationships, learn healthy coping skills, gain the ability to practice effective conflict resolution, and practice effective communication with those around them. It is one of her biggest goals to help first responders to understand how to self-advocate for their needs on and off the job.
